Counselling for Children and Young People

Counselling

Statistics show that many of us will experience mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression and other symptoms during our lifetime. When it becomes overbearing and difficult to manage, counselling can help by offering a welcoming and emotionally safe space for you to comfortably express yourselves. I am here to offer support and guidance to overcome obstacles and help you to reach your goals.

It is expected that you may feel quite anxious, especially for the first session or the assessment. If counselling is something that you’re seeking and the anxiety is holding you back, the presence of one of the animals can be quite reassuring and comforting.

About Counselling

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk in complete confidence. As an integrative therapist, the framework of intervention will be tailored to your needs and what you respond to effectively. There are many people who benefit from talk therapy whereas others may get a greater understanding through creative therapy or other types of intervention techniques that I offer. These include, Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), systemic therapy, play therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. As everyone is unique, so to are the intervention techniques. My goal is to get to really know and understand you and help you in the best possible way that I can. I offer counselling for Children and Young people, between the ages of 6-24, within Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes as well as remotely.

Please see the different types of services that I offer and if you need any more information or have any concerns, send a message through the contact form and I will be happy to respond as soon as possible.
